• Mediation and Volunteer Coordinator 

New Justice Services, Inc. is seeking an individual to provide the following services: Develop and support a community mediation volunteer pool in Oswego, Onondaga and Cortland Counties. Assist the agency Executive Director and County Coordinators in the training and apprenticing of volunteer mediators. Develop and deliver case management and mediation services in Cortland County for a wide range of disputes with an emphasis on helping families with custodial and parenting arrangements for Family Court.  Full time, $32-38,000 per year salary plus some benefits.  


Reliable transportation.

Advanced degree highly desirable and 2 years Human Service experience minimum requirement.

Mediation training and/or experience critical.

Availability to work evenings and weekends required.

• Syracuse City School District Hearing Officer 

New Justice Services, Inc., is seeking an individual with experience in mediation, arbitration and/or group facilitation to serve as a Hearing Officer for both Formal Hearings and Restorative Meetings for the Syracuse City School District.  Full time salary DOE, plus some benefits.  


Minimum educational requirement is a 4-year degree. Advanced degree desirable.

Must have reliable transportation and be able to work evenings and weekends.

Strong analytical and writing skills are essential.
